Indoor/Winter Covid Procedures

We look forward to the start of our winter season training and box lacrosse. Below are the required Covid procedures, we will remain diligent!

Per the current state guidelines and in conjunction with Teamworks, below are the major requirements that everyone needs to understand and follow.  More detailed information can be found at the links below;

Everyone must have a face covering.  Players on the field must have a face covering or ‘field shield’

Each field is limited to 25 players, we will notify you where to go.  Only one parent/chaperone allowed per player.

We will finish each session 5 minutes before the start of the next session to allow time and space to turn over the field.

Personnel flow in the facility is one way.  Signage in the facility will direct you where to exit. We will always be on Field 1 or 2.  Field 1 exits to the left.  Field 2 exits to the right.

All players will get dressed prior to entering the facility.  DO NOT BRING YOUR EQUIPMENT BAG.  Enter with your stick and labelled water bottle only, no earlier than 5 min prior to your scheduled start.  Leave the facility immediately after your session ends.

Do not come if you are feeling sick or have a fever.

Fifteen weeks of Box Lacrosse in Northborough.

The Coyotes Box League (CBL) is a house league, games on Monday and Tuesday nights starting 11/30/20, running all winter and finishing with a championship round on 3/8/21.

Mondays 7pm and 8pm start times and Tuesdays 5pm. 20 minutes of training followed by a 40 minute game. Scoring stats and league standings kept.

Week 1 we will train and it will serve as an evaluation for the coaches to prepare for the DRAFT. The drafted rosters will be announced after week one. Week 2 we split into the teams and they train with their coaches. Officiated round robin play begins week 3. 11 weeks of round robin games then 2 weeks of playoffs. Championship round on 3/8/21.

Players issued Pinnies and T shirts.

This is true box lacrosse; fully boarded fields, 4' x 4' goals, all players play with short sticks. We provide the goalies. We want field goalies playing the field to improve stick skills, footwork and conditioning. Nothing is better for improving your game than box lacrosse; stick skills - two man game - defensive footwork and positioning - high repetition - high speed - intensity - passing and finishing skills - conditioning - tight spaces, the list goes on!

Covid Restrictions.  Current state regulations require that all players must play with a face covering or mask.  We are recommending the Cascade Field Shield.

Weekly starting Monday Nov 30 through Tuesday March 9
