Change Team:
Start of the Season / Introductions
by posted 06/21/2021

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to the Coyotes 2026 summer team!  It was a highly competitive tryout period, followed by two great days of mini-camp.  I am excited to be back for another summer with the team.  Since we have a number of new families, I will make sure to introduce myself.  My name is Craig Ferraro.  I am a coach and teacher at Fay School.  I live in Southborough with my wife and three kids.  Now the lacrosse program's Head Coach, I have spent seven years coaching lacrosse at different levels at Fay.  Prior to that I had stints coaching in Washington DC with WINNERS lacrosse and at Weston High School.  I began playing lacrosse with the Concord-Carlisle youth program before playing at Phillips Academy Andover and then club ball at Fairfield University.

I am joined this summer by assistant coach Tommy Wilber.  Tommy recently wrapped up his playing career at UMass Boston after playing for Walpole High School.  Tommy is a knowledgeable and passionate young coach that will bring a lot to the table this season.

I hope you are excited for our three tournaments this summer.  Please be sure to check these messages for desired arrival times.  We will generally warm-up and discuss strategy beginning about 45 minutes prior to the first game.  Always bring plenty of water and snacks/lunch.

My big picture goals for the team this year are simple; to have fun and to get better.  Thus far the boys have been very responsive and eager to grow and learn.  I hope that I can help them grow as athletes, and as young men.  You will notice that I can be fiercely competitive, but I also know that winning and losing is not everything.  If you ever have questions or ideas, please reach out to me.

With gratitude,

Coach Ferraro
